Zenith City Dance Collective

Artistic collaboration is at the heart of Zenith City Dance Collective. The group is committed to creating original works in which choreographers and songwriters create dances set to live music. The Cluckin’ Cloggers are back with an original work of contemporary clogging performed with an old-time string ensemble. The cloggers are Laura Smith, Brandy Forsman, Tom Maloney, Sara Cagley, Hyland Garvey, Brianna Hall-Nelson and Amber Burns. Jenna Harting will be performing a ballad written for her new project, Mid Dream, with contemporary choreography by powerhouse dance artist Amber Burns. Dance artist Kayla Schiltgen and multi-instrumentalist Nate Weiler are also bringing a fresh improvisational movement and sound score to the stage. The show will be rounded out with Forsman leading everyone in a dance of healing with musician Jerree Small.

Zeb or Zeke and the Run Away Screamings

Zeb or Zeke and the Run Away Screamings is a one-man Scooby-Doo band featuring the multi-talented Luke Moravec. He uses drums, guitar, keyboard and vocals to create a musical experience that is entirely inspired by the classic cartoon series featuring four teenagers and their talking Great Dane. “We lean toward writing our original rock tunes about episodes of Scooby-Doo,” Moravec said. “We always try to keep the sounds bouncy, rockin’, and family friendly.”

Youms

DJ and music producer Emily Youmans, who performs as Youms, moved to Duluth in June 2022 from Phoenix, Arizona and played her first Homegrown set last year. Since that show, she has worked to help build up the local electronic music scene, both curating and playing shows across Duluth and Superior with her two turntables and a microphone. Her stated goal is to always foster a positive, welcoming space for everyone in the community. Before moving to Duluth, she played club and festival shows in Phoenix, opening for artists such as Rezz, Eptic, Ternian Sound, Eprom and Alix Perez.
