Youms is the electronic dance-music alterego of Emily Youmans, a DJ and producer who moved to Duluth in 2022. Youmans combines heavy beats with a wide range of genres, creating a sonic atmosphere that can be grungy, deep house-inspired one minute and disco the next. Before DJing her way to Duluth, Youmans was involved in Recordbar Radio, an independent community radio project based in Phoenix, Arizona.
