The Duluth Dolls are Duluth’s premier burlesque and cabaret troupe. Their variety act consists of everything from classic slinky strip teases to comedy, pole dancing, badass rock numbers and a wardrobe that would make Dr. Frank-N-Furter jealous. The diverse cast has one goal when it comes to performing, and it’s to show the whole audience a sexy, sassy good time. This year’s lineup includes performances by Rosie Sparx, Betty Champagne, Crimson Fox, Hex A’Peel, Dusty Luster, Sandra Sterling, Ivy X, Mauve Stinger and Ursa Vain. The MC will be Lily De LaRue.

Dre aka Jamaican
Duluth hip-hop artist Andre Robinson is known for his infectious beats and clever rhymes as Dre aka Jamaican. His father, the late Paul Robinson of Prince Paul and the Conscious Party, taught him a lot about stage presence. When Dre’s hip-hop collective, Battlezone, ended its run, he found himself with a dance floor full of beats and a microphone that just wouldn’t stop producing rhymes. His debut solo album, Nerd Riot, was released a month prior to last year’s Homegrown.
DJ Sox
DJ Sox is back, ready to ignite the dance floor with beats that hit hard and leave no room for standing still. Garrett Prisk, the mastermind behind the decks, knows how to keep a crowd moving with his relentless energy and bass-heavy house mixes. “It is my intention with each one of my DJ sets to simply create an environment where people feel comfortable with throwing out their inhibitions in order to get out of their minds and into their bodies,” Prisk said. Dance like nobody’s watching, because when everybody’s dancing, nobody’s watching.
DJ Nola
Nola Wick knows a thing or two about throwing a party. Getting her start as a DJ for KUMD radio, she discovered an undying love for the turntable, playing almost all her tracks on vinyl to this day. She has since become known for her Freak of the Week parties at various venues across Minneapolis, and frequently uploads her sets on Soundcloud. When DJ Nola’s at the table, everything from house, disco, funk and techno are in the mix.
