Nola Wick is a funk, disco and techno DJ who throws a party called Freak of the Week around Minneapolis that has been going strong for five years. She also hosted it at Earth Rider Brewery in Superior during the summer of 2021, and in 2022 began making her mixes available in podcast form. In a day and age when most DJs use computers or CDJs to ply their trade, DJ Nola plays almost exclusively vinyl.
