For six years, Nola Rave has put together the monthly Freak of the Week dance party in Minneapolis, spinning as DJ Nola with other big timers at barbeque joints, wine bars and nightclubs all over the city. Behind the turntable, DJ Nola wields and weaves selections from deep funk to slammin’ disco and vocal-infused house to bangin’ techno. And it’s always on vinyl.
