Spirit of the Lake Community Arts, or SOLCA, is an arts education center in Duluth’s Lakeside neighborhood.

The Homegrown Children’s Music Showcase at Lake Superior Zoo in West Duluth features two stages — one in the main building (aka Zoo Central) and another in the Primate Conservation Center.

Near the foot of the Blatnik Bridge in Superior, this neighborhood bar offers darts, pool, pinball and weekly karaoke. This is its first year hosting Homegrown performances.

Must be 21 or older; paid admission required.

The reception hall at the All American Club hosts official Homegrown shows for the first time this year, though there were unofficial Homegrown performances there in 2011. The civic club was founded in 1933 and has been at its present location since 1940.
