Willem Dafoe Fan Club is a slowcore/shoegaze band known for its hypnotic and haunting sound. The band first emerged with prominence on the local scene in December of 2023, as a duo comprising Hollis Sparhawk on vocals, drums, and omnichord, and Noah Ruona on vocals and guitar. They soon added Jon Marshall on bass, and this year the band added Kenneth Bressler on synth and field recordings to fully capture the essence of their ambient, introspective, and comforting songs. Willem Dafoe Fan Club is at home on any lineup from punk to singer-songwriter at major venues or cozy DIY house shows.
