Metal group Throw Me The Remote’s band name came about “exactly how you’d think it did,” says drummer Aurora Grund. With Kevin Haglund on vocals, their sound features the typical screaming, growling and shouting heard in many a metal band. Daniel Haglund’s thrashing guitar thunders over the top of John Leppke’s bassline. The group has recorded an album of ten songs, called God Will See That You Die Pig, with song titles such as “Enemy,” “Control,” and “It’s Never Too Late,” recorded with Grim Tales Records. The album offers the type of intensity that a group of punks won’t be able to resist moshing to.
