Iron Range troubadour Thor Leseman writes high-energy songs rooted in traditional folk but influenced by classic rock, punk and country. He bangs out his setlist on a trusty six-string acoustic guitar in places haunted by the spirit of giants like Johnny Cash, Gordon Lightfoot and John Denver. Leseman has been honing his craft with a Tuesday night residency at the Sawmill in Virginia and made his Twin Cities debut with a performance at the Aster Café in Minneapolis last August.
