The Trinkets are an indie-pop rock band from Duluth, founded by Elsie Zimmerman on vocals and guitar and April Dressel on drums. They’re inspired by the music of their parents’ generation, like Green Day, Weezer, Nirvana, and Radiohead, but they are also students of modern artists such as Chapell Roan, Billie Eilish, and Clairo. Although they are a new band, they’ve played a fair share of shows around town, including Spirit of the Times and Gag Me With a Spoon. They’ve been working on recording a debut EP, and have recently released an original single, “Anabelle.”
