John and Brian Lindula were born and raised in Cherry, on the Mesabi Iron Range, and both graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Performing as the Lindula Brothers, they play American folk, bluegrass, old-time music and traditional English and Irish folk songs. They are influenced by and cover the works of Bob Dylan, Trampled by Turtles and Woody Guthrie. John has written original songs featuring guitar, mandolin and banjo.
