Taylor James Donskey is a lover and writer of songs that tell stories of the everyday folks. His folk, alt-country, rock, and indie settings are heavily influenced by Los Lobos, Ry Cooder, and Daniel Lanois. For his Homegrown set, he’ll be joined by most of the musicians who collaborated on his lyric-forward 2025 album, TJD. Audiences can expect a tight rhythm section with Donskey on bass and Alex Young on percussion, an intricate atmosphere from Nikki Lemire on harp and vocal harmonies, a pull-at-your-heartstrings sound from Andrew Wozniak on slide guitar, and thoughtful riffs from Dave Mehling on guitars, percussion, synths, keys, and noises.
