All roads lead to Nashville for singer, songwriter and Opry hopeful Sydney Hansen. The Duluth native relocated to Tennessee a couple of years ago and spent 2023 performing solo gigs across the Music City. She opened for hat hunk Jon Pardi at Bayfront Festival Park last summer, her single “You or the Whiskey” hit #41 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart in March, she recorded her first original Christmas song, “Kringle Tingle,” and was nominated for a Josie Music Award at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville for Modern Country Vocalist of the Year. Hansen’s crack backing band features Don Douglas, Dave Patterson, Jim Holbeck, Mark Wiita and Paul Jones.
