With a sound that has the ability to travel through time, Sugar on the Roof offers a balance of new originals and older swing classics from the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s. The group has been performing its brand of old-timey string-band music in and around northern Minnesota for about five years. The band is made up of Megan Orwig Reynolds on guitar and vocals, Jefferson Reynolds on banjo and trombone, and Clancy Ward on fiddle and vocals.
