In his one-man comedic musical circus, Steve Solkela plays two-dozen instruments while singing in multiple languages and genres, maybe also on a unicycle or on stilts, probably while playing accordion. But don’t worry, he always wears a helmet – with a crash cymbal attached. Last year he released his album Jenkkihymy: Finnish Fun with Steve Solkela, and he also produced and performed in Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona comic opera and wrote the modern English libretti for the performances. Steve’s lively shows mix music, humor, and plenty of silliness, making them fun for kids and families alike. A classically trained musician, Steve brings energy and imagination to every performance.
