This four-piece rock and blues band, rooted deeply in 12-bar blues, plays originals and shakes things up by arranging their own versions of classic standards. Fronted by vocalist and lead guitarist Scott Johnson, the band features Tony Garland on drums, Mike Weinandt on bass, and Kyle Melhem on rhythm guitar. “Our love language is guitar improvisational freedom,” Johnson says. “Our music is movement and very alive. We have been together since 2018 and have created a groove that is unmistakably our own.” Their new album, SNS-Live, showcases the band’s raw energy and signature style.
