Shadows of Me celebrates 20 years as a hard rock and metal band. Drawing influence from early 2000s post-grunge, nu-metal, and metalcore, the band blends heavy riffs with melodic vocals and modern metal elements. Rick Chida and Cory Christofferson share vocal and guitar duties, while Matt Erickson on bass and Ryan Gundstrom on drums provide a solid rhythm section. Shadows of Me continues to perform songs from their 2023 album Aurelia, including “Shelby” and “Desdemona,” along with newer material that expands on the band’s early influences and evolving sound.
