Since the beginning of the pandemic, Tyler Scouton has been making solo electronic music and saving it ’til the time was right. Letting it marinate for a couple of years, he went back and listened to the tracks from the vault. This was the beginning of Polari, a relatively recent title for Scouton’s solo audio-visual excursions into the avant-garde. Electronic music that more closely matches horror movie background sounds than pop music, with visuals that guide audiences through the experience. Throughout the past year, Polari has been right at home among the dark and strange fixtures of the Jade Fountain and was featured on the 2025 Boubville lineup.
