Drummer Ryan Nelson describes Nvr Tgthr as “a rock group that got ahold of a synth and moonlights as a pop group.” The band is fronted by Chandler Gufflyr, a graduate of the Shirley Manson School of Rock. Jesse Hoheisel, formerly of the Social Disaster, handles the guitar work. Former bassist Derrick Alan now stands behind a synthesizer, bringing the aforementioned pop sounds. The founding members solved the “former bassist” dilemma last summer by adding Nikki Moeller, whose bass-guitar résumé includes stints with several local bands, including punk sensations the Keep Aways.
