Singer, songwriter, guitar player, and grey-bearded stranger Misisipi Mike Wolf teams with The Plain High Drifters to ramble through some heart-on-your-sleeve, tongue-in-cheek, beer-drinkin’ music. The group, secretly or not-so-secretly, wraps their folk and country sounds in punk. Joining Wolf are lead guitarist Andy Lipke, rhythm guitarist Andy Olmstead, bassist Gordon Lewis, and drummer Rick Bruner. Additional auxiliary players and singers will join them on the Homegrown stage. In addition to his award-winning originals, expect to hear covers of John Prine and Willie Nelson, 1980s punk, pass-the-tip-jar folk, and a little New Orleans ya-ya.
