Mint Vintage plays around with a variety of sounds under the alt-rock genre, from slow-building melancholy to energetic punk rockery. There are guitars, and they are loud and that’s rock and roll, baby. It’s break-up-with-your-lover-and-go-drive-around music. It’s friends in the basement drinking Tullamore D.E.W. music. Formed two years ago in Duluth by Eli Curry and Quinn Ryan on guitars, the current lineup has expanded to include Griffin Steel on drums and Tanner Barsness on bass. They released the EP United States of Kink (In Daddy We Trust) in December.
