A transplant from Austin, Texas, Laurie BoeDee has lived in Superior for the past seven years. Her music is primarily in the blues and alternative rock genres. BoeDee’s musical performance work in Austin involved leading a comedy rock band called Miss Jones and the Furrballs, playing guitar for the Jacque Schafer Trio and singing in a 60-voice gospel choir. In Duluth, she has performed at Sacred Heart Music Center during the Duluth Does Pink Floyd and Duluth Does the Trio showcases.
