The high-octane cow-punk troubadours of the Northwoods that make up Iron Range Outlaw Brigade have been creating boot-scooting, mosh-inducing country for more than 15 years. The redneck skater punks Brigade consists of Glen Mattson and Kirk Kjenaas on guitar and vocals, John Peterson on pedal steel, Andy Bergstrom on bass, and John Lamar on drums. Their most recent release, “Dead Deer,” is a blistering, barn-burning punk rock country single full of non-stop skating, monster truck, rodeo, and demo derby action, aptly released right around last year’s deer season.
