Singer-songwriter Ian Alexy made his mark years ago in the brotherly roots duo Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank, served as a crack guitar sideman for country starlet Sydney Hansen and performs in the psychedelic folk-pop jam band Babie Eyes. He’s also a killer solo artist. Working with looped guitars and alternate tunings, Alexy honed his craft in New York, Philadelphia and Austin, Texas before landing in the Twin Ports. His Troubadour 21st Century album, released in 2021, is a powerful set of gutsy forward-looking heartland rock. An acoustic record is planned for 2024.
