After this five-piece group decided to form a band, the crew tossed a bunch of names into a hat to pick one, and Hypochondriac is the winner that stuck. Performing soft and modern rock heavily influenced by the 90s and alternative-dance rock, the band performs both originals and covers. Miles Rohrbaugh, Chuck Grigal, and Dylan Jesperson all contribute guitar and vocals to the blend, with Jesperson also sprinkling in keyboard lines. Holding down the rhythm section are bassist Marcus Jussola and drummer Isaiah Lundholm. With lyrics based on love and nonsensical poetry, the group oscillates between playing slow and moody and upbeat.
