Traditional folk trio Homegrown Tomatoes brings an honest approach to each performance, tending to their audience as a diligent gardener does to their greens. Seeds for their collaboration were planted through active participation in Duluth’s abundant, growing music scene. Cultivating heartfelt melodies and tight harmonies together are guitarist Sonja Marin, mandolin player Nate Hynum, and Harrison Olk on banjo. Their acoustic music is written from a myriad of traditional influences, harvested just in thyme for this year’s Homegrown season.
