The athleticism, the rivalry, the glory, the Wrong Notes Pep Band that marches onto the field playing “Louie, Louie” and “The Final Countdown” on repeat – witness it all as a bunch of musicians do their best at the Homegrown Kickball Classic. Mostly silly-goosery and social hour fueled by beermosas, the annual kickball game commences and energizes the packed Saturday. The kicks and giggles will be held on the large field at the end of the roadway through Chester Bowl Park. If conditions are wet, check the Homegrown website to make sure the game hasn’t been canceled or relocated.
