Their 2024 album, Wingspan, garnered two Midwest Country Music Award nominations for both Songwriter and Album of the Year. Her powerful song “Do You Think You Protect Me?” was nominated for Video of the Year, raising over $5,000 for nonprofits combating violence against women. Haavik’s music has been featured on Good Morning America and 20/20. In addition to her poignant lyricism, Haavik’s journalism work has been honored by multiple national awards.
