Dog Talk is an alternative rock quartet with a fondness for 1990s Canadian pop princess Alanis Morissette. In perhaps its biggest show ever, the group performed the work of Morissette during the 2022 Tribute Fest at Bayfront Park. Led by singer and synth player Kris Hagstrom, a YouTube video shows Dog Talk roaring through a set list like its members grew up in Ottawa and just crossed the border with a truck full of guitars. The band includes Jim Hagstrom on drums, Mike Guello on bass and Bob Bursell on guitars. A new record of originals is planned for later this year.
