Local groove rock band Dog Talk consists of drummer Jim Hagstrom (who Earth Rider Brewery credits for most of their stage buildouts), guitarist Bob Bursell, bassist Mike Guello, and frontwoman vocalist Kris Hagstrom. The band brings an energetic set with their original tunes, a special Homegrown song just for Starfire, and a few catchy covers. When not performing as Dog Talk, the band also performs as an Alanis Morissette tribute. Last year, Dog Talk was featured on PBS’s The Slice, celebrating their journey as a band together and the strong community found here in the local music scene.
