Damien consists of Duluth music-scene stalwarts Marc Gartman on keys and vocals, Alan Sparhawk on guitar and vocals, Cyrus Sparhawk on bass, and Tyler Dubla on drums. The band makes what Gartman calls “video game dance music.” The first Damien album, The Boy Who Drew Cats, was released just before last year’s Homegrown. The followup, titled Damien II, is expected to be available in time for this year’s Homegrown.
