Metal supergroup Coal makes its debut with this Homegrown performance. The band features an all-star team of ear-busting shriek freaks who just might be able to levitate the stage with all the sonic power between them. No one knows; the band has never played for an audience. Led by Nathan Gudowski of Ceaseless Becoming, the group also includes Jesse Johnson from Number One Common and This is Now, Josh Young of 911 and drummer Erik Freitag of Jaundice and Golgotha’s Pyre. Coal focuses on early 1990s metal with a sprinkling of death and black metal to add flavor.
