Inspired by the early 1990s Riot Grrrl movement, the newly-formed quartet C U Next Tuesday delivers a message that’s loud and powerful enough to be heard all the way to Olympia, Washington. The band is fronted by Sophie Hiroko and features Kyle Barden on guitar, Swerty Wertman on bass and Al Panchyshy on drums. Each band member generates a unique sound, creating a theatrical and empowering performance. “The importance of informing audiences of women and queer people’s real experiences and inequalities within our social world is what drives this band to make waves in the community,” Hiroko said.
