Brody and the Roadies

Thirteen-year-old singer and multi-instrumentalist Brody Heisick-Thole leads Brody and the Roadies, an all-in-the-family country cover band out of South Range, Wisconsin. The group includes Brody’s little brother Bryce Heisick-Thole, age 11, on drums, and grandpa Jim Thole on guitar. Brody and the Roadies explore a variety of music including stars like Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, John Prine and Steve Earle as well as rockers like Soul Asylum and R.E.M. A video posted on the band’s Facebook page documents its take on Loudon Wainwright III’s “Dead Skunk” during a performance at the White Winter Winery in Iron River.
