The heavy-riffing post-hardcore band Bellerpuss kicked off 2026 with a series of mutual aid shows, caring loud for community as any punk worth their salt should. Since forming in 2021, the trio has been frequently featured on killer punk lineups throughout the Twin Ports and across the region. Guitarist and vocalist Kyle Barden rips alongside bass-face-inducing Amy Kozak on the low end and drummer Al Panchyshyn, delivering driving rhythms for dancers and moshers alike. Both Barden and Panchyshyn also bring their energy and instrumentation to C U Next Tuesday. Bellerpuss rips with clarity and never sacrifices the groove, no matter how ferocious the shred. The band has two EPs online, but their 2024 live recorded show at Jade Fountain is only available on cassette.
