Guitarist and vocalist Ryan Mulner and drummer Nate Christian are Homegrown veterans, having previously played in Average Mammals and Fight for the Weekend, respectively. Together in this newer project they play energetic, emotive rock with lyrics that reflect their Iron Range roots. “Neon Green,” for example, is a nostalgic look back at Hibbing’s Irongate Mall. The band plays regularly on the Range and in Duluth and has released multiple singles on various streaming services. The album Live at Mike’s Pub was recorded at one of their regular haunts in Hibbing and released in October.
