Singer-songwriter Shane Nelson has been performing music most of his life. As a teenager, his first band, Crescent Moon, won several battle of the bands competitions, gained recognition for its live performances, and even opened for nationally recognized bands like Survivor and Toad the Wet Sprocket. Now a solo artist, Nelson has been to Nashville and back, and hasn’t tired of performing and creating new music. He will be joined at Homegrown by drummer Jerry Siptroth and bass guitarist Taylor Shykes. Nelson’s self-titled album was released in 2020, and he recently recorded his followup, The Music Saved My Life, at Sacred Heart Music Center.
