Winzige Hosen poses the question: “Have you ever wondered what would happen if Gogol Bordello had a date with Frankie Yankovic in a beer hall?” The group is made up of people who have done plenty of time in the Duluth scene. Brian Schanzenbach is on accordion and Kala Shepersky is on tuba. They bring the classic polka sound and mix it in with the rock and punk styles of Luke Nyen and Abe Curran on guitar, Nikki Moeller on bass, Al Bastien on drums and Patrick Sunderland on trumpet. Between the polka and the lederhosen, it’s gonna be like Oktoberfest never stopped. Or started early.
