Multi-instrumentalist Dustin Tessier has released a half-dozen recordings under the name Timbre Ghost, sewing contemplative lyrics into various styles of an alt-country backdrop. The Duluth-born and raised artist turned mountain transplant has been inspired from time spent in the landscape of Western Montana. The outcome is delectable Americana à la Neil Young and Jason Isbell. Tessier’s residence in the mountains clearly has transposed his melancholy tone to a more hopeful outlook heard in his intimate vocals and guitar work.
