Theresa Williams

There is something charmingly blue collar to the way Theresa Williams presents music. The singer and guitarist tends to books shows at more rural settings like small-town coffee houses and wooded ski resorts. Those three-to-four hour, old-jeans-and-a-T-shirt shows display a singular, rustic, folk-country guitar, a grainy-blues voice, a chair and a down-to-earth personality that invites random listeners to stay longer than planned and order just one more round. Williams’ webpage features four recorded songs that capture both the intimate feel of the solo sets and the multi-instrument performed pieces with well-placed accompanying backup musicians.
