The Resonance likes the tension and experimentation that happens when contrasts collide in sound and senses. For example, the band recently added a ukulele to mix in with its huge, 1990s grunge guitar roar. “We are always trying to find new ways to blend the light with the dark, the beautiful with the ugly, the righteous with the sinners,” says guitarist Cliff LaVigne. The Resonance also includes Dan Munthe on vocals and guitar, Allen DeTray on drums and Eric Franklin on bass. The band promises to debut a collection of new original songs during its Homegrown performance.
