The Farsights

The Farsights’ signature sound has remained pretty steady since 2011. “It’s mostly high-energy, driving rock-and-roll and punk rock songs that don’t overstay their welcome,” says drummer Ryan Nelson. This year, though, bad-assist Brynn Sias steps up to the mic a bit more alongside guitarist Phil Jents. “She’s writing a lot more songs and singing a lot more,” Nelson says. “Her increased presence as a front woman is probably the biggest change for us.” Regardless of who’s fronting what, one thing fans can count on staying the same: “Short, sweet, fast, energetic, with bad jokes intertwined during tuning breaks.”
