Sister Veery is the music project of Molly Hilgenberg, a Minnesota native who returned to the North and has been based in Duluth since 2021 after years in Northern California. With a background in vocal performance and a career as a therapist, Hilgenberg crafts songs that explore nature, humanity, and the inner life, offering moments of solace and connection in uncertain times. In 2025, Sister Veery formed a full band for the release of Cosmic Relevance, supported by an Arrowhead Regional Arts Council grant. Blending space folk, indie rock, pop, and hints of country, the band features Shanna Willie on drums, Michael Geraci on bass, Chad Hilgenberg on banjo, Chris Rourke on guitar, Adeline Wright on vocals, and Molly Hilgenberg on vocals and keys.
