Suzy Jezierski, aka Suzy Q, is the founder of Sea Smoke Aerial Arts. She has been practicing aerial arts for six years and specializes in the sling, a long and strong loop of fabric used to dance and perform tricks, flips and poses in the air. Jezierski has performed alongside a variety of Duluth musicians in various aerial/musical collaborations throughout the years. She also teaches aerial sling classes at Destination Fitness in Duluth. During this year’s Homegrown performance, Jezierski will be accompanied by some of the advanced student flyers from her aerial classes — Lily Brandt-Griffith, Elizabeth Aysta and Lilly Furman.
