Kenneth Gregory Bressler

The Talmadge River cuts through the great northern forest between Two Harbors and Duluth. It roars over its banks in the spring; flows gentle in the summer and hides its mysteries during the winter. This is where electronic artist Kenneth Gregory Bressler grew up. His experimental, ambient music is inspired by Talmadge and the natural beauty of the Superior National Forest and Lake Superior. Performing primarily with piano and harmonium and using tape as a tool for sound manipulation, Bressler constructs loops that feel like an afternoon in the deep woods, relaxing beside the water without ever getting wet.
