Folk singer Jerree Small has been mostly known for her work in a pair of bands over the past 15 years. Her most recent solo record, Mobius, dates back to 2004. From 2007 to 2015 she partnered with members of Crew Jones in an acclaimed mashup called Southwire, and since 2008 she has sporadically partnered with Marc Gartman in the acoustic outfit Coyote. For her Homegrown performance this year she said she hopes to be joined by Clancy Ward “in a duo of sorts,” for a musical trolley ride around Superior. Other musicians from Small’s group of friends who get together for informal living-room collaborations might also jump in on the shuttle show.
