James Geisler is a hip-hop artist, entertainer and semi-professional performer of wheeled- sneaker stunts. He emerged in the Duluth music scene as a UMD student circa 2015 and defined his sound in 2018 with the self-produced EP Dumb. After moving to Minneapolis in 2019, he became a TikTok sensation for his “Heely Tricks,” gliding around various parking lots, leaping, climbing and spinning his way to millions of online video views and a performance on America’s Got Talent. His music blurs the lines of introspection, social commentary and satire.
