Guitarist Codie Leseman and drummer Curtis Mattson formed the spaced out indie-rock package Good Colonels in 2008. Since then they have added bassist Jozeph Conaway, released three albums, and logged many miles on two multi-state tours. Their music is propelled by moody, echo-y riffs with a half punk, half funk backbeat. The results move adeptly between both fast-pace chaos and slower, controlled melody. For the first time in more than a decade, they are all living in the same city with plans to begin recording a fourth album.
