Gina Lee Welsh-Rabold brings a serene spirit of positivity to the stage with each performance. Mixing folk, country and a touch of percussive guitar playing, the singer songwriter comes up with a unique sound that is appropriate for every kind of audience. After working with a rock band in Bismarck, N.D., and a country band in Tacoma, Wash., Welsh-Rabold moved to Duluth in 1988. Two albums have resulted from the past three decades of solo musicianship squeezed in with parenthood and an accounting day job. Simply Imperfect was the first in 2003; A Soft Place to Land followed in 2014.
