Chasm of Czar

Creeping up on three years as a four-piece, Chasm of Czar continues to rip through the Twin Ports as a powerfully melodic force. After recruiting Chris Hall on bass and Jeremy Crabbs on drums, founding members Dan Krause and Conor Glenn became guitar copilots, which opened up a lot of new doors for the project. Though the band is hesitant to adhere to the label of metal, it’s the style that surfaces as the prominent element. The set list of instrumentals drifts with mystically mellow build-ups that transpire into blisteringly heavy peaks, all of which exemplify the band’s technical prowess.
