Bill Flannagan’s Blue Cabooze rumbles into Homegrown like a northwoods mystery train headed south for the Tennessee mountains. “It’s a rockin’, honky-tonkin’ outfit,” says Flannagan. “For Homegrown we always like to get the biggest, bestest thing together we can.” Flannagan, a singer who typically performs solo on guitar, piano and mandolin, will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Eldo Abrahamson and Paul Vogel on bass and harmonica. Some surprise guests could also hit the stage. Flannagan has been working on a new album and promises a handful of original tunes along with a few barn-burning covers.
